Update on Pérez Art Museum Miami Sponsorship & Community Service

MIAMI – (March 2, 2016) – G. Frederick Reinhardt, Chairman and CEO, announces that Javier Rivero is departing his position as head of wealth management at Brickell BankSM, effective March 11, 2016. Mr. Rivero, who joined Brickell BankSM in 2014, has decided to pursue other interests.

“We want to express our gratitude for Mr. Rivero’s valuable contributions.  It was a pleasure to work with him, a dedicated team leader and a valued member of our senior executive team. We wish him much success with his new endeavors,” says G. Frederick Reinhardt.

A comprehensive search is underway for a new head of wealth management.  “Wealth management business will continue as usual at Brickell Global MarketsSM and Brickell BankSM and all its subsidiaries continue to provide services without interruption, including our new insurance division, Brickell Global InsuranceSM.   Client service is our number one priority,” continues Reinhardt.

As the first quarter of 2016 nears a close, the bank maintains a favorable business outlook, and will continue to place an emphasis on augmenting core business areas such as trade finance.  To that end, Brickell BankSM has signed a loan purchase agreement to acquire the trade loan portfolio of INTL FCStone Inc. (Nasdaq: INTL), a Fortune 500 Company with roots going back to 1924.  The transaction is expected to close in March 2016.
